Shamera Sterling-Humphrey

A fan favourite all around the world, Sterling-Humphrey has become a household name in the global netball community.

The international superstar will be back in pink in 2026, after missing much of the 2025 season with the announcement of her pregnancy. 

She made her presence felt in her three appearances in 2025 with 5 intercepts, 19 deflections and 7 rebounds – gaining 227.5 Nissan Net Points.

The international icon became a dual premiership player in 2024 after leading her side’s defensive unit to championship success.

Once again, she headlined every defensive statistic across the league, leading intercepts with 44, deflections with 96, and defensive rebounds with 36.

She finished the season third overall for Nissan Net Points with 1292 and was named the club’s Player of the Finals.

Sterling-Humphrey burst onto the SSN scene in 2019 and has been a human highlights reel ever since.

In 2023, she became a premiership player for the first time, was crowned Club Champion and was named Most Valuable Player of the entire SSN competition.

Off the court, she studies Primary Education.
