After a promising debut season in Super Suncorp Netball, South Australian shooter Lauren Frew will don the pink dress again in 2025.
In her first year as a Thunderbird, the Netball SA pathway product became a premiership player and was named Player of the Match in the Major Semi-Final.
The accurate goal attack proved she belongs in the world’s best netball competition, recording 574 Nissan Net Points, 117 goals, 91 goal assists and 140 centre pass receives.
Frew became Thunderbird #109 when she made her debut against the Queensland Firebirds in Round 1 where she recorded 10 goals, 13 goal assists and 19 feeds.
The 22-year-old also earned her first international selection after being chosen to don the green and gold in Australia’s FAST5 team at the 2024 World Series in Christchurch, New Zealand. Click HERE to read more.
Thunderbirds’ General Manager of High Performance Jace Bode said Frew was an integral part of the side’s goal circle in 2024.
“Loz proved she belongs at the elite level in 2024 and stepped up in the finals series as the side secured its second premiership in two seasons,” Bode said.
“She built strong connections with her teammates, both on and off the court, and was consistently accurate to post.
“We are excited to continue working with Loz and look forward to having her back on court in 2025.”
