Hodges and Lange have been elevated to cover for injured shooters Sasha Glasgow and Emma Ryde, who were both ruled out following injuries in last weekend’s match against the Giants. Glasgow ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament and will require surgery to repair the damage. Ryde sustained a hyperextension injury, which requires the knee to be rested for some time due to soft tissue and bone bruising.
Tania Obst, Head Coach, said that the opportunity to offer court time to existing players in the extended squad.
“Charlee and Cody have both been immersed in our environment and been training well,” said Tania.
“It’s exciting that they now get another opportunity to put that out on the Suncorp Super Netball court this weekend.”
