Tayla Williams
South Australian local and versatile midcourter Tayla Williams will pull on the pink dress for the fourth season in 2025.
In her third season with the Adelaide Thunderbirds, Williams became a dual premiership player in 2024 as she delivered a dominant season in the side’s midcourt. Playing across C, WD and WA she finished the year with an impressive 1064 NNP, 202 goal assists, 39 deflections and 12 intercepts. Williams also stepped up for her first season in the side’s leadership group, joining Shamera Sterling-Humphrey and captain Hannah Petty. Her performance earned her a second-consecutive selection for the Australian side in the 2024 Fast5 Netball World Series. Hailing from Balaklava in the state’s Mid North, Williams was a training partner with the Thunderbirds from 2020 until she was rewarded with an official contract ahead of 2022. She came through the Netball SA Pathway, starting with Hummocks Netball Club as a junior before joining Contax Netball Club in the Netball SA Premier League. Williams also represented SA at the 2019 National Championships, where she won gold with the U19 side.FIND OUT MORE
