The Adelaide Thunderbirds will now play their Round 7 home game against Sunshine Coast Lightning at the new Territory Netball Stadium on Saturday 8 June 2019 at 2.30pm (ACST).
The next time the Adelaide Thunderbirds return to play at home following the match in Darwin, will be our blockbuster game of the season.
Adelaide Thunderbirds members and fans will now see their team play at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre earlier with the date of our home game at the venue brought forward from Round 13 (vs. GIANTS Netball) to Round 9 (vs. NSW Swifts). Round 13 will now be played at Priceline Stadium.
The match against the Swifts will be our premiere event in 2019 and we are excited to create a day to remember for our members and supporters.
The contest on court is set to be a ripper with the Adelaide Thunderbirds coming up against several South Australian talents in the Swifts, including Maddy Proud and Sarah Klau. The off-court aspects will be enhanced with a larger Fan Village and more entertainment.
