The Adelaide Thunderbirds will paint the town pink again next weekend with the return of their PLAY 4 PINK Round for breast cancer research.
Following a successful launch in 2024, the club will once again collaborate with its Principal Charity Partner, The Hospital Research Foundation Group, to bring this special round to life as they host the West Coast Fever on Saturday, May 17.
Limited-edition PLAY 4 PINK merchandise will be sold prior and at the match to ensure the stands at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre are painted pink.

Custom PLAY 4 PINK warm-up tops for the athletes will return with a fresh design for 2025 and be auctioned after the game.
The club’s Principal Partner Adelaide University have also shown their support for cause, offering up their logo place on the front of the warm-up top to allow the PLAY 4 PINK logo to take centre stage.
In addition, Jones Radiology will once again be the Premier Partner of the round, matching donations up to $12,000.
All proceeds raised from the auction, merchandise and public donations will go directly to breast cancer research, patient care and accommodation run by The Hospital Research Foundation Group.
More than 20,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in Australia, with a heartbreaking 3,000 dying from the disease.
In 2024, the round raised over $34,000 as the Pink Army well and truly embraced the cause.
Netball SA and Adelaide Thunderbirds CEO Bronwyn Klei said the club was excited to host its second PLAY 4 PINK Round with The Hospital Research Foundation Group.
“We’re proud to once again host a PLAY 4 PINK Round this season, raising vital awareness and funds for breast cancer research,” Ms Klei said.
“The Hospital Research Foundation deliver such valuable work, and it’s a really important issue that has had a big impact on so many across our netball community, that it was a no brainer for the Adelaide Thunderbirds to support this again.
“The inaugural round in 2024 was a resounding success - it was amazing to see our Pink Army embrace it so much and I look forward to seeing them do so once again on May 17.”
