The Adelaide Thunderbirds have announced their Eleventh Player for 2024, with South Australian midcourter Tyler Orr elevated ahead of Round One.
This season, the League introduced the ability for teams to elevate one of their training partners to be their eleventh player, allowing them to increase their squads from 10 to 11 players.

Hailing from Moana, South Australia, Orr has made her way through the Netball SA pathway after starting her with Matrics Netball Club at age 15.
She has represented the Stars in The Hospital Research Foundation Group Premier League has become a premiership player for the club.
The midcourter represented South Australia in both the 17U and 19U age divisions at the National Netball Championships and was a Sports Institute of South Australia athlete.
Orr had a unique introduction to Suncorp Super Netball when she received a mid-season call-up from Collingwood Netball Club during the league’s COVID-19 Hub season in 2020.
She made her SSN debut in the black and white against the Adelaide Thunderbirds in front of family and friends and Netball SA Stadium.
In 2021, she was named as a training partner for the Adelaide Thunderbirds for the first time and was selected again in 2022 and 2023.
In 2022, she was vice captain of the Southern Force side who won gold at the Australian Netball Championships and went on the captain the side – re-named the Adelaide Thunderbirds Futures – at the competition in 2023.
“2024 offers an exciting situation where we are able to upgrade one of our nominated training partners on a 6 month contract,” Adelaide Thunderbirds head coach Tania Obst said.
"Tyler has continually developed her craft in our training partner environment for 3 years and offers flexibility and a point of difference within our midcourt.
“We know Tyler will also add value to our team with her maturity and leadership qualities and know she will make the most of this opportunity.”
