Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds are proud to join the THINK! Road Safety Partnerships Program as part of a new partnership with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).
The THINK! Road Safety Partnerships Program empowers and educates South Australians to be lifelong learners of road safety.
The Program partners with organisations who deliver road safety education, ambassador content, community programs and events to help reduce road trauma and save lives across South Australia.
Netball SA and DIT will work together to spread this valuable message throughout the netball community across the state.
Kangaroo Island product and Thunderbird #100 Georgie Horjus will be the club’s ambassador for the partnership and will feature in the road safety campaign.
The partnership will come to life through a series of digital content pieces and will be present at Adelaide Thunderbirds home games in 2025.

It’s great to have Netball South Australia and our back-to-back champions, the Adelaide Thunderbirds onboard to help us deliver road safety messaging that positively influences the behaviour of all drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.
Education remains a key pillar of our Road Safety Action Plan 2025-27 - we look forward to working with the Thunderbirds to empower those starting out behind the wheel to make better informed decisions to keep themselves and other road users safe.
