Adelaide Thunderbirds duo Matilda Garrett and Georgie Horjus have both been selected in the squad of 15 for the Australian Diamonds’ upcoming series against the England Roses.
As Diamond #191, this marks Garrett’s second selection for a Diamonds’ series, and the first for Horjus who was named in the 2024/25 Diamonds squad for the first time.
If named in the final team of 12, South Australian star Horjus would be primed to make her Diamonds debut on home soil.
The first match of the series will be played at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Thursday 19 September at 6:30pm ACST.
The Diamonds and the Roses will then go head-to-head at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday 22 September at 4pm AEST.
The series will end in Bendigo on Wednesday 25 September, in partnership with Visit Victoria and supported by the City of Greater Bendigo.
