Adelaide Thunderbird Shadine van der Merwe is a late withdrawal from the side’s Round 12 clash with the Sunshine Coast Lightning tonight, July 28.
The defender will miss the match as she overcomes a lower leg injury, although the club expects she will return for Round 13.
Training partner Tayla Williams, who travelled with the side to the Queensland Hub, will take her place in the 10.
The Thunderbirds will take on the Lightning from 6:00pm ACST at Nissan Arena.
