Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds are thrilled to welcome renowned Australian sportswear company Valour Sport as their official apparel partner for the 2021 season and beyond.
A three-year partnership will see Valour Sport provide apparel across all Netball SA brands until at least 2024.
The ethically accredited company was founded in 2009 and today supplies several major sporting brands across the country, including fellow Suncorp Super Netball clubs, the Sydney Swifts and Giants Netball.
Director of Valour Sport Matthew Knight said the chance to partner with Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds was a wonderful opportunity for the company to give back to South Australian netball across every level.
“It is a great privilege and a proud moment for our company to supply such an iconic Australian sporting franchise like the Adelaide Thunderbirds,” Mr Knight said.
“Over the past 10 years, Valour Sport has been well supported by the state of South Australia through our community sporting partners and education-based clients.”
On Wednesday, the Adelaide Thunderbirds unveiled the team’s new dress design for the 2021 season - a collaborative vision brought to life by Valour Sport’s talented design team.
“Our Head of Design Ash Wells has delivered an inspiring update to the range with a fun and fascinating design that we believe truly captures the club’s fun yet competitive aspirations,” Mr Knight said.
“We welcome the Adelaide Thunderbirds to the Valour family and look forward to seeing the team have great success wearing the Valour Sport kit for many years to come.”
Netball SA CEO Bronwyn Klei said the organisation was thrilled to be partnering with a company of Valour Sport’s calibre.
“We’ve seen what Valour can deliver not only in netball but across a number of sporting codes including AFL and rugby and the company’s experience and professionalism was a major drawcard,” Ms Klei said.
“In the Adelaide Thunderbirds space in particular, Valour gave us the opportunity to create an entire new look for our 2021 range and the new dress design blew us away.
his partnership also means Valour will create apparel and merchandise for all Netball SA events and programs across grassroots, including our annual Country Championships and Academy Games.”
