The Adelaide Thunderbirds will enter its season opener with a full list, following confirmation that star shooter Romelda Aiken-George will be available to play.
Aiken-George was load managed across the pre-season while she was rehabilitated from minor knee surgery she had earlier in the year.
Following fitness tests at training this week, she has been cleared to play in Saturday’s Grand Final rematch against the Melbourne Vixens.
Star defender Shamera Sterling-Humphrey was cleared to play earlier this week after she was also load managed across the pre-season due to tendonitis.
South African Sanmarie Visser, who joined the club as a temporary replacement player for Aiken-George, will remain in the club’s environment but no longer on a temporary replacement player contract.
The club is excited to continue working with Visser on her development this season.
The Thunderbirds will host the Vixens from 4:30pm ACDT this Saturday, April 5 at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
