South Australian shooter Lucy Austin will be back in pink in 2025 after extending with the club for another season.
At just 22 years of age, Austin is now a dual premiership player after the side claimed back-to-back premierships in her first two Super Netball seasons.
The Adelaide local has proved why she is one of the most promising young shooters in the country, after being named as an invitee for the Australian Diamonds for 2024/25.
Across the 2024 season, she delivered 85 goals along with 17 super shots, coming on as an impact player in the goal circle.
Austin also earned her third consecutive Australian FAST5 selection at this years World Series in Christchurch, New Zealand.
General Manager of High Performance Jace Bode said the club was thrilled to welcome Austin back for a third season.
“Lucy has continued to grow her game immensely in 2024 and has been a big part of our past two premierships,” Bode said.
“We have no doubt she’ll continue to develop and thrive in our program, and we look forward to working with her again next season.
“We’re excited to have Lucy back in the pink dress and can’t wait to see her game go to another level in 2025.”
