Adelaide Thunderbird #24 Natalie Von Bertouch has achieved netball’s highest accolade, inducted into Netball Australia’s Hall of Fame for the class of 2024.
The South Australian has had an illustrious netball career having won every major title the sport has to offer.
She was the inaugural Adelaide Thunderbirds captain in the ANZ Championship era, holding the position for six years. During this time, she led her side to two championships in 2010 and 2013.
In 2009, Von Bertouch was awarded the ANZ Championship Player of the Year for a spectacular season on court.
Consistently recognised as one of the greatest midcourters of all time, she played a key role in Australia’s 2007 Netball World Cup-winning side.
The dynamic centre went on to vice-captain the Diamonds in 2008 before earning the captaincy in 2011 where she led Australia to back-to-back world titles.
In her decorated career, Von Bertouch earned 76 caps for Australia, many of which she played alongside her sister and Thunderbird #20, Laura Von Bertouch.
Von Bertouch accepted her award at the Netball Australia Awards night on Saturday, November 30.
