Adelaide Thunderbirds goaler Lauren Frew has re-signed with the club for another season, extending her contract to the end of 2026.
The South Australian solidified her place in the side’s starting seven in 2025, strengthening her connections in the side’s attack end.
She shot 155 goals to go with 131 goal assists, 144 feeds and 623 Nissan Net Points.
The accurate shooter also finished in the top 5 across the league for super shots with 37.
In Round 4, she picked up a fan-voted MVP with 89 Nissan Net Points, 27 feeds, 17 goal assists and 7 super shots.
She was named fan-voted MVP once again in Round 11 with 7 super shots, 16 feeds, 42 Nissan Net Points.
Adelaide Thunderbirds General Manager of High Performance Jace Bode said the club was pleased to welcome Frew back again for 2026.
“Loz continued to grow and develop on the SSN stage in 2025,” Bode said.
“She demonstrated her ability to shoot from range and deepened her connections in our attack end.
“We look forward to working with Loz again in 2026.”
Frew joins already contracted athletes Matilda Garrett, Georgie Horjus, Shamera Sterling-Humphrey, Tayla Williams, and Latanya Wilson on the side’s list for 2026.
