The Adelaide Thunderbirds Members have crowned young star Georgie Horjus as their MVP for 2024, naming her the recipient of the Valour Members’ Player Award.
A clear fan favourite, Horjus picked up the fan-voted MVP award on five occasions this season as she impressed across both wing attack and goal attack.
The 22-year-old from Kangaroo Island led the club for goal assists with 230 and centre pass receives with 248.
As the Thunderbirds secured their second-consecutive premiership, Horjus shined in the Grand Final with 81.5 Nissan Net Points, 22 feeds, 12 goal assists and 7 goals.
Horjus was presented with her award at the Netball SA Gala on October 4.
She was also recognised for receiving the club’s Players’ Player Award along with Tayla Williams who received the Spirit Award, Shamera Sterling-Humphrey who was named Player of the Finals, and Latanya Wilson who was crowned the 2024 Club Champion.
