The Adelaide Thunderbirds are pleased to announce its new partnership with global vehicle rental provider SIXT for the next two years.
SIXT Australia have joined with the Thunderbirds as its exclusive car rental partner, coming in with over 30 years of experience in the vehicle rental industry and a fleet of over 16,000 vehicles nationwide.
Through the partnership, SIXT will provide a range of vehicles for the team and the broader company, and will be the official automotive partner of our regional netball program, Netball on the Road.
Netball SA and Adelaide Thunderbirds CEO Bronwyn Klei said the club was excited to welcome SIXT into the Thunderbirds family.
"We’re proud to be partnering with such an established and experienced company in SIXT for the next two seasons," Ms Klei said.
“SIXT have demonstrated their passion and commitment to netball in recent years, supporting our sport from grassroots to elite, and we’re excited to welcome them into our netball family in South Australia.
“We are aligned in our values and dedication to the community, making this a perfect fit and we look forward to working with the SIXT team for years to come.”
SIXT South Australia’s Managing Director Glenn Lawrence said the company was thrilled to be partnering with the Adelaide Thunderbirds as their Major Partner for the next two years.
"Our aligned company values and joint dedication to community engagement, coupled with our commitment to advancing netball in South Australia and women's sports in Australia, make this partnership a natural choice,” Mr Lawrence said.
“This partnership strengthens our commitment to South Australians to improving the mobility in the state. The past 12 months has seen us open three new suburban stores in Adelaide, and with our ongoing expansion plans in metropolitan and regional areas, our aim is to solidify our position as the biggest and the best car rental provider for the South Australian community”.
“We're excited to support the Adelaide Thunderbirds as they travel throughout South Australia and as they journey across the country.”
