The Adelaide Thunderbirds and co-captain Chelsea Pitman will part ways at the end of the 2020 season.
After four seasons together, the Club has decided not to renew Pitman’s contract for 2021.
Adelaide Thunderbirds’ High Performance Manager Pitre Bourdon said Pitman had been an invaluable part of the Thunderbirds for many years.
“Chelsea has been such a big part of this club over the past four years and she’s incredibly well respected by her teammates and peers,” Bourdon said.
“We’re extremely grateful for everything she’s given to our club not only as a player and leader, but as a person.
“We wish Chelsea all the best for the years to come.”
Pitman will play her last game in the pink dress on Saturday as the Thunderbirds take on the Fever in Brisbane.
