Adelaide Thunderbirds athlete Shamera Sterling will be monitored in the coming days ahead of the side’s Round 10 match on Sunday.
The Jamaican star injured her ankle in the final minutes of the Thunderbirds’ Round Nine clash with the Sunshine Coast Lightning on Wednesday night.
Sterling will undergo further assessment on Friday, with the Club hopeful she will be ready to go for its first of three home games at Priceline Stadium on Sunday.
The Adelaide side will host the Collingwood Magpies in front of a home crowd at 3pm ACST on Sunday afternoon.
