Adelaide Thunderbirds co-captain Hannah Petty will be monitored closely in the coming days as the side prepares for its Round Seven clash with the Melbourne Vixens on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old missed Round Six as the Club took precautionary measures to ensure she recovered from a collision with Collingwood Magpies midcourter Molly Jovic in Round Five.
Petty was assessed by the match doctor following the collision and was cleared to return to the court, however she experienced a headache the next day.
Given her history with concussion, the Club will continue to take an extra cautious approach to the midcourter’s return to play.
She will be assessed again prior to Wednesday’s match.
