Adelaide Thunderbird Elle McDonald has a minor knee injury which the club has decided to take a precautionary approach with in respect to the midcourter’s preparation for the 2021 SSN season.
As a result, McDonald will not travel with the side to Traralgon for pre-season matches against the Collingwood Magpies and Queensland Firebirds this weekend.
The Thunderbirds will take on the Magpies on Friday night at Gippsland Regional Indoor Sports Stadium from 6:30pm ACDT. The match will be livestreamed via the Magpies’ social channels.
On Saturday, the Adelaide side will be back on court to take on the Firebirds from 3:30pm ACDT.
