Game Day Guide: Round 1 v Giants

The Adelaide Thunderbirds will kickstart their 2021 season this Sunday as they host the Giants at Netball SA Stadium from 2:30pm.

The below is everything you need to know ahead of the game.

Members Recognition Round

Sunday’s match is Members Recognition Round - a chance to say thank you to the most loyal supporters of our Pink Army!

The event will include exclusive member giveaways including the chance to win the following prizes:

Major prize: Courtside corporate box to the Thunderbirds’ Round 7 match at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Saturday, 12 June
A signed 2020 player banner of Lenize Potgieter

Ticketing

Tickets are still available via Tickmaster. Pre-purchase your ticket online to avoid missing out.

Members should have received their tickets via email. If you haven't received your tickets and you're an Adelaide Thunderbirds member, log in to your ticketmaster account here and click on 'upcoming events' or 'manage tickets'.

If you have any issues with your tickets, please see our ticketing team at the Adelaide Thunderbirds tent at the main entrance of Netball SA Stadium. Ticketmaster will be open from 12:30pm.

Adelaide Thunderbirds Merchandise

The Valour Sport 2021 merchandise range will be available at their shop in the Fan Village.

Entry and Exit

Patrons will enter via the recently upgraded main entrance at Netball SA Stadium, where QR code check in is also required. Exit will be via one set of doors at the main entrance.

What’s On

1:00pm – Doors and Fan Village open

2:45pm – Centre Pass

4:20pm – Match concludes

4:20pm – Signing session

Fan Village

Fan Village will be located outside the Southern entrance of the stadium (alongside the outdoor courts). The below activations will be on offer:

SAFM COVID-safe glitter bar, face mask giveaways and RnB beats
Mr Fruchoc giveaways
First National goal banners

Food and Beverages

Available at the stadium including BBQ in the Fan Village and stadium café outlets.

Parking

Paid car parking is available at Netball SA Stadium for $10. For members, who have purchased a car park pass, please present this when entering the car park.

Masks

Masks are required when moving around the stadium, but not required while seated. Disposable masks will be made available at the entrance for those who require it. Children under 12 are not required to wear a mask and exceptions will be allowed for those with a medical conditions.

COVID Safe

To ensure Netball SA Stadium stays COVID safe, please:

Stay home if you are feeling sick with cold or flu like symptoms.
Be mindful of others when moving in and around the stadium and maintain appropriate physical distancing at all times.
Arrive early to avoid congestion.
Follow signage and directions of event day staff.
Sit in the seat allocated to you and printed on your ticket. Please do not sit in any other seat.
Practice good hygiene at all times – keep up the hand washing / use hand sanitizer / and always cough and sneeze into your elbow.
The venue is strongly preferring cashless payments.

Please note if you have been in Western Australia’s Perth and Peel regions in the last 14 days you are not permitted to enter Netball SA stadium, as required by SA Health.
