The Suncorp Super Netball League has announced two changes to its Round 6 fixture, with all matches to be played in Sydney and on the Sunshine Coast.
The Melbourne Vixens and Collingwood Magpies were scheduled to host the Adelaide Thunderbirds and West Coast Fever respectively at John Cain Arena on Saturday, however the league has adjusted its schedule due to the coronavirus outbreak in Victoria.
The Magpies will now play the Fever at Sydney’s Ken Rosewall Arena on Saturday at 3:00pm. The GIANTS Netball and NSW Swifts derby will then go ahead as planned at 1:00pm on Sunday. Both matches will be broadcast live on Channel 9.
The Vixens have stayed in Queensland following their thrilling two-goal win over the Queensland Firebirds and will take on the Thunderbirds at USC Stadium on the Sunshine Coast.
The match will be played at 5:45pm on Sunday, as a double header after the Sunshine Coast Lightning and Queensland Firebirds clash at 3:00pm.
Round 6 marks the final week of the league’s Indigenous Round celebrations, with all eight clubs wearing specially designed dresses and incorporating cultural performances into their match-days.

Suncorp Super Netball League Operations Manager Bill Allen again thanked the clubs and officials for their understanding and flexibility.
“This is a challenging time for the clubs and officials as we once again navigate the complexities of the coronavirus pandemic,” Allen said.
“We are continuing to work with the relevant health authorities to ensure all Suncorp Super Netball games can go ahead.”
