Tippah Dwan has advised the Adelaide Thunderbirds she will not return to the club for the 2024 season.
The club offered the GA/GS a new deal for 2024, however she has told the club she would not be staying on.
Dwan joined the Thunderbirds in 2022 and played 24 games in the pink dress across two seasons and became a premiership player for the club in 2023.
Thunderbirds High Performance Manager Pitre Bourdon thanked Dwan for her contribution in 2022 and 2023.
“We had hoped to retain Tippah after an incredible season together in 2023, but we respect her decision to explore other options for next year,” Bourdon said.
“We thank her for everything she has done for our club and wish her the very best for 2024 and beyond.”
Dwan thanked the club and its Pink Army for their support over the past two seasons.
“Adelaide has been my home for the last two years and I can’t thank the Thunderbirds enough for letting me be a part of their family over this time,” Dwan said.
“Winning a premiership with this group of girls has been a dream come true and doing it every week in front of the Pink Army makes it even more special.
“I am now looking forward to the next chapter in my life and the new opportunities that arise.”
