Kelly Altmann – “Kelly’s pre-season hit outs against SSN teams have been encouraging. She continues to improve both her C and WA game. We look forward to this continual improvement.”
Beth Cobden – “Beth is in the final stages of her rehab and she has now completed three sessions of competitive match play. We will confirm the round when Beth will debut for the Adelaide Thunderbirds in the next week.”
Maria Folau – “Maria continues to develop her connections with both the midcourt and shooting circle. She has been leading the way for the younger shooters and is enjoying the Adelaide lifestyle.”
Sasha Glasgow – “Sasha is now injury free with no restrictions to her training program. She is continuing to progress her game in both GS and GA and is also consolidating the connection with Maria and Cody in the goal circle.”
Layla Guscoth – “Layla has set very high standards for herself and the group both on and off the court. She is stepping up in the full time SSN environment and can’t wait for the season to start.”
Cody Lange – “A few niggly injuries the past couple of months have interrupted Cody’s pre-season. But she is back on track now with her training and is focussing on her connections with the midcourt and shooting circle.”
Hannah Petty – “Hannah’s hard work is paying off by completing a full training load. She is making progress with her court craft in both C and WA.”
Chelsea Pitman – “Chelsea sustained a setback with her calf injury at the SSN pre-season competition. She is following her rehab diligently and we will confirm her return to play date in the next week.”
Kate Shimmin – “Kate has been challenging herself in the WD and GD roles. She has shown she has the capacity to play in all three defensive positions.”
Shamera Sterling – “Shamera is stepping up to the challenge of a full time SSN environment. She is growing her ‘covering the ground’ GK game as well as her spectacular aerial ball winning ability.”
