Hodges, who has been a training partner with the Adelaide Thunderbirds since 2016 and debuted for the club as a replacement player in 2018, previously represented South Australia in underage championships and the Deakin University Australian Netball League.
She is also coming off the back of a strong performance with the Northern Stars in New Zealand’s ANZ Premiership in 2019, earning herself a position as starting goal attack in their grand final match.
Adelaide Thunderbirds Head Coach, Tania Obst, says she is pleased to have Charlee join the team.
“I am extremely pleased to share that Charlee Hodges has been signed as a temporary replacement player for the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2020,” said Tania.
“Charlee has been called into the Adelaide Thunderbirds squad on numerous occasions over the last two years and has proven she is capable of performing at Suncorp Super Netball level, plus she’s familiar with our team environment and the rigours of travelling.”
“As a product of the Netball SA pathway, Charlee is well acquainted with the South Australians in our team and has spent considerable time in the Adelaide Thunderbirds environment as a training partner.”
