A sharp shooter with smart game play and dynamic movement, Tippah Dwan is an exciting new addition to the Thunderbirds line-up for 2022.

The GA/GS first made a name for herself in Suncorp Super Netball in 2020 for the Queensland Firebirds, finishing fourth in the league for super shots and collecting 713 Nissan Net Points for the season.

For the past two years, she has been named in the Australian Development Squad and was invited to travel with the Australian Diamonds side for the Constellation Cup Tour in New Zealand in January of 2021.

Dwan was first chosen as a training partner for the Firebirds while she was still completing her Year 12 in 2017.

In 2018, she captained the Queensland U19 team that travelled to Adelaide for the Netball Championships in 2018.

Ahead of the 2019 SSN season, she was elevated to the Firebirds list but sadly suffered a season-ending injury in the pre-season, delaying her debut in the SSN for one year.

Off the court, Dwan is studying a Bachelor of Business and Interior Architecture (Design).
