In her second season in pink, Garrett continued to deliver in the Adelaide Thunderbirds’ defence end as a strong shutdown goal defence.

She built on her connections with Jamaican defenders Shamera Sterling and Latanya Wilson in the circle, and Hannah Petty as she established herself in wing defence.

At the close of the season, she was named in the Australian Development Squad and as a reserve athlete for the Australian side at the Fast5 Netball World Series.

The Victorian first came on to the netball scene in 2017 when she was chosen to represent her country at the World Netball Youth Cup in Botswana, at which she was coached by Tania Obst and captained by Hannah Petty.

She made her SSN debut in 2018 for the Collingwood Magpies, learning alongside experienced defenders Sharni Layton and Geva Mentor, before making the move to Adelaide for 2021.

Off the court, Garrett studies Exercise and Sport Science.
