Thunderbirds superstar Latanya Wilson delivered another stellar campaign in 2026, crowned Club Champion for the third-consecutive season.
A generational talent, the Jamaican defender picked up Player of the Match accolades on four occasions, leading the league for intercepts with 42 and finishing third for deflections with 72.
Her standout moment came on the biggest stage of all, delivering a Grand Final for the ages with 104 net points, 7 gains, 6 deflections and 3 intercepts.
She solidified her place amongst the best netballers in the world and strengthened her lethal combination with Sterling-Humphrey in defence.
Post-season, Wilson added a Commonwealth Games silver medal with Jamaica in Glasgow.
Wilson became Thunderbird #102 in 2021 and continued to elevate her game every year in pink.
In the absence of Sterling-Humphrey in 2025, the Jamaican found a new gear in her already impressive game style.
She was named the MVP by the club's membership base, and took out the Club Champion and the Players’ Player awards for her standout season.
Off the court, Wilson is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts.
