Georgie Horjus
South Australian talent and key playmaker Georgie Horjus will enter her sixth season with the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2026.
Her versatility was once again on display in 2025 as she seamlessly transitioned between WA and GA as a key cog in her side’s attack end. The Kangaroo Island product finished the season with 868 Nissan Net Points as she led her side for goal assists with 214 and centre pass receives with 266. She was also selected in the Thunderbirds leadership team for the first time. Post-season, she was named Player of the Finals for her impact in the side’s semi-final with 25 feeds and 14 goals assists, to go with eight goals - six of which were super shots. Horjus’ performance earned her second-consecutive selection for the Australian Diamonds 2025-2026 Squad. Horjus started her netball journey with Parndana Netball Club before joining Contax Netball Club in the Premier League. She came through the Netball SA pathway, representing the Southern Netball Academy at the Academy Games and SA at nationals. Off court, Horjus studies Human Movement and a Master of Secondary Teaching.FIND OUT MORE
