Georgie Horjus

South Australian star and co-captain Georgie Horjus will enter her eighth season with the Adelaide Thunderbirds in 2027.

A one-club player, Horjus has three premierships to her name at just 24 years of age.
 
In 2026, she joined Shamera Sterling-Humphrey as one of only five premiership captains in club history after lifting the trophy at the end of the 2026 season.
 
Horjus is a former Club Champion, a three-time Players' Player, and one of just four athletes to take out the Super Netball MVP award in the past decade.
 
She has twice been named Player of the Finals, in 2024 and 2026, and voted Members' MVP in three of the last four seasons.
 
In 2026 she led the league for goal assists with 331, was second for centre pass receives with 329, and finished eighth overall in the competition for Net Points with 1100.
 
Horjus became a Commonwealth Games bronze medallist in August representing the Australian Diamonds in Glasgow.

Off court, Horjus studies Human Movement and a Master of Secondary Teaching.
