Priceline Pharmacy has confirmed its ongoing sponsorship of Netball South Australia (SA) and the Adelaide Thunderbirds with a new two year partnership.

This deal will see the health and beauty retailer celebrate a total of six year partnership and commitment to grass roots netball in SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds at the elite level.

Mr Richard Vincent, Managing Director and CEO of API, Priceline Pharmacy’s parent company said it is a very exciting time for netball in South Australia and the brand looked forward to further integrating as part of the netball family through their partnership.

“Our partnership with Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds is significant and one we have enjoyed great success with since our first signing in 2013,” said Mr Vincent.

“We are proud of the incredibly successful relationship we have with Netball SA and are looking forward to elevating our commitment and contribution to align our brands further. This ranges from grass roots levels with registered netball participants, bringing Priceline to life to the more than 450,000+ people who pass through Priceline Stadium annually.”

Mr Vincent added that the partnership offers an ideal platform to bring health, fitness and wellbeing front of mind week in week out to this audience, reinforcing the importance of good health.

Newly appointed Netball SA, CEO, Ms Bronwyn Klei said that the brand has a long standing and strong relationship with Netball SA and the Adelaide Thunderbirds.

“This re-signing is a commitment to support and grow the development of the number one sport of choice for women, and for the more than 100,000 diverse participants, umpires, coaches, volunteers, and families,” said Bronwyn Klei.

“Priceline Pharmacy and Netball SA have enjoyed a successful and close relationship and their renewal is testament to their commitment to the further growth of our sport. The partnership means that we can continue to significantly invest and develop netball in South Australia.”

Ms Klei said, “We are looking forward to activating and bringing our partnership to life with our participants both on and off the court. This is a fantastic opportunity to work together more intrinsically and connect actively with our netball community in a genuine partnership.”

The Adelaide Thunderbirds’ 2019 Suncorp Super Netball season will continue this weekend with the Round 5 clash against the Queensland Firebirds at Priceline Stadium on Sunday 26th May 2019.
