The Adelaide Thunderbirds have announced that athlete Sasha Glasgow ruptured her ACL on Sunday afternoon in the club’s Round 13 match.
Glasgow was playing GS in the Suncorp Super Netball competition when she injured her knee upon landing.
Scans have confirmed that Glasgow has ruptured her left anterior cruciate ligament and will require surgery to repair the damage.
Glasgow will miss the final game of the 2019 season this weekend.
Talking about Sasha's injury Head Coach Tania Obst said that the club is devastated for Sasha about the confirmation of her ACL injury.
“We will ensure she has the best care possible moving forward and will support her through her rehabilitation.”
“She has been a shining light for our team this year and we look forward to seeing her back out on the court in the future.”

Adelaide Thunderbirds goal shooter Emma Ryde will undergo scans on her left knee after leaving the court in the third quarter against the Giants on Sunday and the outcome will be advised when available.
