Membership Terms and Conditions

We want to make sure all our members have a positive experience with the Adelaide Thunderbirds and kindly ask them to read the Terms & Conditions (T&Cs) and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) prior to purchasing.

The below T&Cs are relevant to the purchase of 2021 membership of the Adelaide Thunderbirds. 

These T&Cs are subject to change and are at the discretion of the Adelaide Thunderbirds and Netball South Australia.

By purchasing an Adelaide Thunderbirds membership, you thereby agree to these T&Cs. You acknowledge that you are entering into an agreement on the terms set out below with Netball SA for the entire duration of the membership.

Netball Australia reserves the right to, in conjunction with Suncorp Super Netball (SSN), change dates, times and venues as appropriate prior to or during the 2021 SSN season.



Members with an outstanding balance from 2020 or previous seasons will be ineligible to renew or purchase a new membership in 2021 until all outstanding fees have been paid.

Members on a payment plan will commence their payments on February 10, 2021. Those on monthly instalments will have a payment deducted on the 10th of every month, starting from February 10, for 6 months. Those on an upfront payment will have the full amount deducted on February 10. Those who do not wish for their membership to be automatically debited must opt out via email.

If a payment is missed, the Adelaide Thunderbirds membership team will debit again two days later. If the payment is still not successful, the Adelaide Thunderbirds membership team will then communicate to the member and it is the member’s responsibility to amend.

The Adelaide Thunderbirds membership team exercise the right to refuse entry and cancel the barcodes of the membership if a member is non-compliant.



At both Netball SA Stadium and Adelaide Entertainment Centre, there are options for junior, concession, companion, adult and family memberships.

Junior – All members aged 17 and under as of 31st December 2021

Adult – All members aged 18 and above as of 31st December 2021

Concession – To qualify for a concession, members must have one of the following; Pension card, Full-time student card, Veteran’s affairs card, Disability card or Carer’s card. Members must produce their concession ID at the game when entering the venue. If a member is no longer a concession and this changes through the course of the membership, they must contact the membership team to upgrade.

Members who hold a health care card or senior’s card are not eligible for a concession membership.

Family – A family consists of two (2) adult memberships and two (2) junior memberships.



Members who purchase a season ticketed membership are entitled to all seven home games, at Netball SA Stadium and Adelaide Entertainment Centre. A member card is used for entry at all games.

Members who purchase a 3 Game Membership or 1 Game Membership are entitled to three games and one game respectively. 3 Game and 1 Game Members acknowledge that their choice of games is not guaranteed and subject to availability. Tickets are emailed out prior to the start of the season.

Members are entitled to benefits depending on their membership level. For a full list of benefits, please visit The club reserves the right to alter member benefits and offer additional benefits throughout the season as they become available.

The club does not take responsibility for lost or stolen membership cards. A $10 fee will be charged for the replacement of a membership card.



Netball SA reserves the right to amend seating arrangements at its sole discretion where necessary due to stadium build changes and membership demands, or any other reason deemed necessary by Netball SA.

Members will be notified if there is a change to their seating and alternative arrangements will be made before the member is moved.

All members are given a seat at Adelaide Entertainment Centre comparable to their seat at Netball SA Stadium. This factors in membership category, proximity to aisles and number of seats in the group.



Car Park – Members can purchase a discounted car park pass for $60. This is valid only for games at Netball SA Stadium.

Inner sanctum experiences – Some membership categories will have access to functions and player meet and greets. The nature of these experiences is subject to player availability and can be amended by the Adelaide Thunderbirds as needed.



All memberships are transferrable. If a member wishes to transfer their membership to a friend or family member to use, they are permitted to do so. The patron who uses the membership card must be in the same membership type category. (E.g., an adult must use an adult membership and a concession must provide proof of concession at the door. An adult is not permitted to use a junior ticket).

If the patron that is using the membership is not in the same category, they are able to upgrade at the ticket office. (E.g., if an adult wants to upgrade from a junior ticket to an adult ticket, they can pay to upgrade).



Netball SA will not issue refunds or credits in the case of missed games, team performance or a change in personal circumstances.

Subject to the Australia Consumer Law, Netball SA will only provide a cancellation or refund of membership in exceptional circumstances. The Adelaide Thunderbirds membership team reserve the right to approve a refund. All cancellations must be sent in writing to our membership email:



Members will be regularly communicated to via email and the Adelaide Thunderbirds social media channels. It is the member’s responsibility to make sure all personal details are updated. To do so, you can log into your account via the Membership portal on our website or contact the membership team on 8238 0500 during business hours.



All members are subject to the Netball SA Stadium and Adelaide Entertainment Centre terms of entry and behaviour code of conduct. To read our behaviour code of conduct, please visit Netball SA reserves the right to decline or cancel a membership at any time. Members are also subject to the terms of ticket sale from Ticketmaster, Ticketek and any other ticketing agency utilised by the club in 2021.



In becoming an Adelaide Thunderbirds member, you and those using your membership grant Netball SA, Netball Australia and Suncorp Super Netball permission to use imagery, footage and potential interviews taken at events or games. This footage may be used in the following ways; Website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and other Adelaide Thunderbirds marketing collateral.



The personal information you have provided in your Adelaide Thunderbirds membership application is collected, used and disclosed in accordance with the Netball Australia Privacy Policy – Netball South Australia  is a party to this policy.

Netball South Australia may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes of conducting and administrating your Adelaide Thunderbirds membership and other related activities across Australia, providing you with member services or promotional material, complying with legal obligations or otherwise in accordance with the Netball Australia Privacy Policy. Netball South Australia may share your information with third parties such as Netball Australia, Ticketmaster or Ticketek, however your information is not generally disclosed to anyone outside Australia. The Netball Australia Privacy Policy contains information about how you may access and request correction of your personal information held by Netball South Australia or make a complaint about the handling of your personal information, and provides information about how a complaint will be dealt with by Netball South Australia. Your membership application may be rejected if the information is not provided. If you do not wish to receive promotional material from Netball South Australia sponsors and third parties you must advise us via email or telephone or via the specific opt-out procedures provided in the relevant communication.



Unless otherwise specified, Adelaide Thunderbirds material is owned or licensed by Netball SA. No material (including electronic, mechanical, photocopying or recording) may be reproduced, adapted or transmitted without prior written consent from Netball SA.



2021 renewing members from 2020 will be categorised into the following groups based on their revised membership selection in 2021. This will all be communicated directly to members as part of the renewal process.

Members who pledged or attended the games in 2020 will be given priority to renew their 2021 membership ahead of those who opted for a refund.

Pledge – If a member pledged their membership to the club in 2020, they are able to renew their 2021 membership at the fixed rate of 2020 membership in their relevant category.

2-game credit – If a member attended two games and asked for a credit for the difference in 2021, this credit will automatically roll over and be deducted from your 2021 membership invoice.

2-game refund – If a member attended two games and asked for a refund for the difference in 2021, the refund should already be processed.

Refund – Members who asked for a refund in 2020 should have had this refund processed.



The impact of COVID-19, or any other unforeseen event, on the 2021 SSN season is currently unknown. If the season is interrupted, members will be provided a series of options relating to their 2021 membership.

Should the venue capacity at Netball SA Stadium be less than 100%, alternate measures may be put in place for members to attend games. For example, a member will renew their normal seat in the stadium upon paying for their membership - if capacity changes, Netball SA reserves the right to alter the seat, in order to permit attendance at games in accordance with physical distancing measures and government advice.

Netball SA will continue to monitor the latest health advice from the government as we approach the 2021 season. Any important information will be communicated to members.
