Your match day guide for Round 12

The Adelaide Thunderbirds return to Priceline Stadium for the Round 12 clash against Sunshine Coast Lightning on Sunday 22 July. Here’s everything you need to know about game day!



10.30am – Carpark opens ($10 all-day parking)

11am – Fan Village and arena doors open

12.20pm – Adelaide Thunderbirds players on court

12.48pm – Centre pass

Quarter time –  Torrens University jigsaw puzzle challenge

Half-time – Hamley Bridge Netball Club’s NetSetGO players take to the court and Suncorp Team Girls giveaway

Three-quarter time – ‘Hungry Hippos’ competition


Public transport – catch the train to Mile End Railway Station, which is a 15 minute walk from Priceline Stadium.

The Match Day Partner for Round 12 is Torrens University and they’re bringing a new virtual reality experience to the Fan Village!

Thanks to Torrens University, Adelaide Thunderbirds fans will get to experience what it’s like on centre-court on match day with competitions taking place at quarter and three-quarter time with the contestants chosen pre-game in the Fan Village. One of the competitions will see contestants test their jigsaw solving skills, while the second will be a hilarious take on the all-time-favourite board game ‘Hungry Hippos’.



Our Fan Village is located outside Priceline Stadium’s main entrance so arrive early with your family and friends and get involved in the free activations. Here’s a list of activities you won’t want to miss:

  • Mazda, will have their photo booth in the Fan Village, so round up your friends and family for a photo with Tori T-Bird.
  • Defence Force Recruiting are also new to the Fan Village and will have a virtual reality experience, suitable for those 14 and over.
  • Make sure you get a family happy snap at Priceline Pharmacy’s mirror photo booth! Priceline Pharmacy will also be providing mini manicures, colour hairspray and shoot the hoop – all for a gold coin donation for the Sisterhood Foundation.
  • Test your shooting skills at Channel 9’s inflatable goal ring.
  • Enter the Burbank colouring in competition and this round’s winning picture will go into the running to win an ultimate game-day experience at the Adelaide Thunderbirds last home game. Burbank will also have prizes and giveaways.
  • Coast 2 Coast are offering Adelaide Thunderbirds fans 50% off all official merchandise.
  • Bounce will keep your kids entertained with its parkour course.

  • First National are back again with their popular pink GOAL banners.
  • Zap Fitness will be handing out free seven-day gym passes.

Make sure you have your free team poster at the ready as following the presentations the team will have textas ready for autographs.
