Get to know… Chelsea Pitman

We sat down with our newly minted golden girl and got an insight into the life of our very own Chelsea Pitman.

What are your most recent career highlights? My debut with the England Roses in 2017, and winning GOLD at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.

What is your playing style? Strong, steady and instinctive.

Who is your netball idol? Mo’onia Gerrard

If you weren’t playing netball, what would you be doing? I would be a firewoman.

What is your most embarrassing netball moment? Once, when I was younger, I farted when I rebounded a ball. I blamed it on my shoe….but I don’t think anyone fell for that.

Do you have any pre-game rituals or superstitions? Putting on my dress it always the last think I do before we leave the change rooms.

What is your favourite quote? Obstacles only become visible when we lose sight of our goals.

What is your dream holiday destination? Space included? Because definitely there.

If you could only eat one type of food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Sushi

Name three famous people you would like to meet. Jason Momoa, Kelly Slater and Roger Federer.
